What is your favorite Pixar movie?

Inspired by the release of Pixar's new movie, "UP", and by this EW PopWatch blog post, I started thinking about what my favorite Pixar movie would be - not an easy task, considering how really very good their movies are - and I came up with this list. Picking my favorite - "The Incredibles" - was pretty easy. I absolutely adore that movie and can watch it over and over. To me, it feels like it was Pixar's first movie NOT geared completely towards children, and maybe that's why it's my favorite. It also helps that it's a superhero/James Bond-ish spy thriller action movie, a genre I love.

The rest of the list, not so easy. "Cars" is definitely my least favorite, but "Ratatouille", "Wall-E"  and "Toy Story 2" are in the bottom half only because I've only seen each one once or twice, and a long time ago. And "UP" is not on the list because I have yet to see it.

Movies That Scare Me

OK, before I begin, a disclaimer: I am a wuss when it comes to scary movies. I have no desire to watch movies about hills with eyes or saws or anything like that. That shit's just way too gross and disturbing for me. There are, however, movies that are just creepy enough that I'll keep coming back for more, especially at this time of year.

Those movies are, in no particular order:

* To be honest, I've never been able to watch either of these movies in their entirety. Too scary!!

If you're into classic horror, then check out TCM. They've programmed "48 Hours of Horror", airing classic horror films all day today and tomorrow. Also, AMC has been airing their "Fearfest '08" all week, and they have some of the more modern horror classics.

Do you have any favorite scary movies?

Nobody's Fool

Since Paul Newman died I've been saying to anyone who will listen that "Nobody's Fool" is one of his best movies. I think it's probably my favorite of all his films, and now Hulu has added it to their movie vault so it's easier than ever for you to watch it!
