Drive-by Review

The Manchurian Candidate - Fair for a thriller, but pales in comparison to the original. Acting was above-average on all counts, but the screenplay was too cluttered and not enough time was spent on Raymond (Schrieber). Worth the rental, but if you're going to rent anything, see the 1962 original with Lawrence Harvey, Frank Sinatra and an evil evil Angela Lansbury.
