Am I goin crazy...
...or was this a CSI episode: "Prosecutors said Mr. Braunstein dressed as a firefighter and set off a smoke bomb to trick his 36-year-old victim into letting him into her Chelsea apartment on Oct. 31, 2005. Once inside, he knocked her out with chloroform, stripped her, tied her to her bed and sexually molested her for 13 hours."

As I remember, that was EXACTLY a CSI (or CSI:M) episode! Also, if I remember correctly, a serial killer used the same trick to kill a whole family on CRIMINAL MINDS.

Yes - in keeping with the whole "ripped from the headlines" approach. This first was in the media two years ago - horrible, horrible story.
(And I mean yes, it was in fact an episode, not, yes you are goin crazy!)
OK, I figured it was a ripped from the headlines thing, but I wanted to be sure I didn't just dream that I saw it on CSI or something, lol.
