A Day at the Beach

Well, more like 45 minutes.

It was such a nice day yesterday, so we drove down to Hammonasset Beach with Lily. Unfortunately, we were massively under-prepared - no stroller! - so it ended up being a short visit. It's a really nice beach and we are definitely planning on returning soon and actually spending some time there.

It was Lily's first visit to the beach, so she brought home some special sea shells and put them on her dresser. We let her sit and touch the sand, but it was difficult to tell what she thought of it. I think the whole experience was just another in a long line of photo shoots for her.
