Simon is leaving American Idol after this season.Not wholly unexpected, I suppose, especially considering there's been talk of him doing X-Factor here in America for a while now, but still. American Idol without Simon or Paula? Not even Ellen's considerable charms could make up for the loss of those two.
Who would have thought that Randy Jackson, of all people, would be the last original Idol judge left standing?
