Drive-Thru Review

War of the Worlds - This was a movie that I had really wanted to see in the theater, until, that is, Tom Cruise Crazy Show came to town. Then I didn't want to see it at all, and that made me even more annoyed with him. However, enough time has passed now, and I was able to watch it this weekend and enjoy it. It's Spielberg's 3rd alien movie, and this time, they are not here to make friends. At all. It's a pretty scary movie, that effectively conveys our post-9/11 world with images reminiscent of the towers falling and people disintegrating into a fine gray ash and little Dakota Fanning screaming "Is it the terrorists?? Is it the terrorists?!" Good movie.
