Peanut Butter Pumpkins

Melt on package of Reese's peanut butter chips and mix with a can of vanilla frosting. Add food coloring. Separate a little bit of the dough and color green for stems. Refrigerate for one hour. Roll into balls, score with a knife and squish them a little between thumb and forefinger. Poke holes in top of pumpkin with a toothpick. Make stems from the green stuff and stick 'em on top.

I made these last Halloween also. Everyone loved them. The recipe was in a seasonal recipe book at the grocery checkout

You can make these for school without peanuts. I make them with Cream Cheese, Powdered sugar, red and yellow food coloring and mint flavoring. They are just as easy and I use clove for the stem. Just be sure to tell the kids not to eat the clove.
