"I've been staying in a hotel in Huntsville, TX since I evacuated my home in Slidell, LA. Besides my family there are quite a few refugees here.
Local restaurants and churches have "dropped by" with meals for us.
Some guy just walked into the office and paid the bills for all the refugees here through Sept 8. He wouldn't let the office people tell us who he is.
I am speechless.
There is a lot of ugliness going on in New Orleans, but there are some very wonderful people in Texas."
