Idol: Top Ten Men

OK! Another performance show under our belts. I really wonder why I watch this show - these things are excruciating!

Kevin, honey, this is not the Special Olympics. Everyone is not a winner and thank you Simon for at least trying to inject a little reality into the proceedings. It'll be easier on Chicken Little when he's sent home if he understands that he really does not have what it takes. [Aside: doesn't he look like one of those little Hummel Christmas Carolers, with the rosy cheeks and rosebud mouth?]

Gedeon - much improved over last week, but he is indeed an odd little person.

Jellyfish Radford - I think someone may have finally realized that he is not supposed to be there.

Will - what is with these weird kids?

Elliot - fantastic singer with a good mom story. If he picks a good song next week, there may be no catching up to him.

Taylor - I don't know about him - he sang 'Easy' well, but I'm still not seeing from him what I know is there. Psst, Taylor: 'Ain't no sunshine when she's gone..'

Sway - All contestants should be banned from singing Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire. This dude sang both 2 weeks in a row. Bad idea.

Bucky - Bucky? Oh, yeah, Bucky.

Ace - this kid must be incredibly uninteresting if the best they could come up with for a personal interest story is the ski cap he keeps in his back pocket. He's pretty, but there's not much going on upstairs, I don't think. And his performance wasn't all that great. [Brenna's claws came out when it came time to catch that hat, didn't they?]

Chris - very well done, but I'm nervous about how he'll fare on something like Barry Manilow night. Can you scream 'Mandy'? Then again, 70s Dance Music night gave Bo 'Vehicle', the performance that made him a star.

Things got a little weird for a minute there when Ryan started untucking Will's shirt, huh? If you want to remain in the closet, Ryan, you need to stop undressing the cute boys onstage.

Tonight, 4 go home. My wish: Brenna, Heather, Will and David. A girl can dream.
