Idol: Top Ten Women.

Wow, that was pretty darn boring. In no particular order:

Katharine has me worried now. A little. I still think she's the best singer, but wow, what a crappy song choice! And speaking of crappy choices, Katharine, maternity tops are not a good idea if you are not pregnant.

Melissa - I liked the new hairdo and the song choice suited her.

Heather - Who?

Lisa is becoming more human-like to me, but just barely. The band was drowning her out, I thought.

Paris can bring the house down even with that piece of dreck, but these girls really need to start seriously thinking about their song choices. Zzzzzz.

Kellie actually picked a very good song for her and did much better than last week. I do find it hard to believe that the girl's never heard of calamari or spinach salad, but whatever. Just don't dance anymore, OK?

Kinnik did what the judges told her to do and they proceeded to do what they always do - contradict themselves. You need to be younger, Kinnik, you need to watch and learn from the teenagers in the competition...Kinnik steps out of her normal comfort zone and rocks a Gretchen Wilson song and the judges slap her on the wrist and put her right back in her box. WTF?

Ayla - Sheila nailed her personality right before Simon did - this girl will succeed at everything she tries, out of pure ambition and perfectionism. She's not my favorite, but she seems to be the only one really working at this.

Mandisa kicked some serious ass again. Jesus she can sing.

Finally, my girl Brenna absolutely BLEW. It is time to GO. AWAY.

Tonight: Top Ten Men, 8-9:30. There's a new episode of LOST on at 9:00 tonight, though, so I'll be taping the last half hour of Idol.
